So far, the Volkswagen Polo Sedan manages to stay within the limits of up to 1 million rubles. But how long it will be able to continue is hard to say.

Renault Duster

Once Duster literally burst into the Russian market. It was the cheapest foreign crossover car. A unique car for Russia, which quickly began to gain popularity.

The first Renault Duster was a success. But the achievements did not end there, as the second generation appeared. In general, the car is a lot like the Volkswagen Polo Sedan. One should not be surprised, since these are relatives due to the direct connection between Volkswagen and Skoda. Both brands are part of the same VAG concern.

But objectively, the Skoda Rapid received a more attractive design. The car is quite spacious, despite its apparent compact external dimensions. There is a spacious luggage compartment, a decent set of good and reliable engines.

Plus, the prices for the Rapid are slightly lower in comparison with the Volkswagen Polo Sedan.

The most attractive option in the Style configuration with a 1.4 TSI engine with 125 horsepower and a 7DSG box will cost at least 1.3 million rubles.

Kia rio

One of the bestsellers in the Russian automotive market. Collecting cheap, but objectively good foreign cars, the rating, where the most attractive options are selected, definitely deserves a car from the South Korean concern Kia.

The car is available in sedan and hatchback versions. Perfect for urban use. It can offer a stylish design, a good level of performance, and a solid build. The materials here are mostly budgetary. But here it is important to understand about the car for what money we are talking about. It is not entirely correct to wait for something more.

Kia offers a fairly wide range of trim levels for the Russian market. Here you can buy a car with one of 2 engines, as well as 1 of 2 gearboxes. Under the hood are the 1.4 and 1.6 liter MPI engines. Their power is 100 and 123 horsepower, respectively. Both engines are gasoline. The box has a mechanic and an automatic machine.

The cheapest Classic package includes the minimum set of equipment. It goes only on mechanics and with a 100-horsepower engine. The starting price is 880 thousand rubles.

But it will be fair to add that buying a Kia Rio in the cheapest version is not worth it. The car is too empty. There is practically nothing. Because of this, not the most pleasant impressions are created in the cabin.

It is optimal to make a start at least from the configuration of the Luxe level or at least Comfort. But here prices will start from 1 million rubles. The 123 horsepower engine suits this car better. With him, the Kia Rio has improved dynamics, good overtaking, and feels confident on the tracks. At the same time, the difference in fuel consumption is practically not felt. Much depends on your driving style and the amount of fuel in the tank.

Objectively, the Kia Rio is a decent option. The choice of body type is also pleasantly pleasing. But still bypass the cheapest configurations. They can be downright disappointing.

Hyundai solaris

A car that definitely needs no introduction. This is a true bestseller. The best-selling foreign car in Russia.

And there are several objective reasons for this popularity. For starters, this is an affordable price. Plus, the car is equipped with good motors and gearboxes. It doesn't even make sense to repeat it. The gearbox and internal combustion engine are exactly the same as in the Kia Rio. Both cars use the same platform and are twins in technical terms.

At the same time, Solaris turned out to be slightly cheaper.Despite the fact that the Hyundai Solaris is only available in the sedan body, and the Kia Rio is available as a sedan and a hatchback, Solaris is ahead in sales.

Renault Sandero Stepway and Logan Stepway

It is quite possible to place these two cars within the same rating position. In fact, these are crossover versions of the usual hatchback and sedan from Renault.

At the same time, their ground clearance was increased, the optics were somewhat modified, and special body kits were installed. All this is aimed at giving the cars the appearance of a full-fledged SUV.

Of course, there is no need to talk about any serious off-road capabilities. Although a slightly increased ground clearance gives certain advantages.

Logan Stepway, presented in the form of a cross-sedan, will cost a little less from the start than Sandero Stepway.

But objectively it is worth admitting. To demand something supernatural from such a cheap car is not entirely correct and correct. Yes, the quality of finishing materials is not the best here. The interior uses cheap and rather tough plastic. But all competitors in the ranking have a similar situation.
