The exterior of the Jaguar F-Type convertible is made in the same vein as the coupe of the same name, and differs from it only in a folding soft top (the transformation of which takes only 10 seconds, and this operation can be done at speeds up to 40 km / h). At the same time, with the roof removed, the two-door looks even more natural, attractive and harmonious, because it was originally conceived as a roadster.
Dimensions and weight
"Ef-Type" has the following dimensions: 4470 mm in length, 1311 mm in height and 1923 mm in width. The distance between the pairs of wheels of the car is 2622 mm, and its ground clearance does not exceed 108-112 mm. In the "traveling" form, the "Briton" weighs from 1525 to 1674 kg, depending on the modification.
Interior
Inside, the Jaguar F-Type Convertible completely repeats its "closed brother": an attractive and modern design, devoid of show-off, thoughtful ergonomics, high-quality materials, a high level of assembly and a two-seater layout with sports seats.
The trunk of the roadster is really scanty - its useful volume does not exceed 207 liters (although the position of the roof does not affect the capacity in any way). A reserve for a two-door is not provided, since in the "base" it is equipped with Run Flat tires.
Specifications
For the Jaguar F-Type convertible, two gasoline turbo engines with direct fuel supply and phase shifters at the inlet are announced - this is a 2.0-liter inline four, developing 300 horsepower and 400 N • m of torque, and a 3.0-liter V-shaped "six" , which produces 380 hp. and 460 N • m peak potential.
Both engines are equipped with an 8-band "automatic" and rear-wheel drive transmission, however, for the most powerful version is also offered "smart" all-wheel drive with active redistribution of thrust along the axles, depending on the "driving" conditions.
